Calling all Men!!

This past weekend marked the 13th Annual Men's Conference in the Washington District, Apostolic Man. It is wonderful to see so many men gathered together to worship and honor Jesus Christ and to spend time in preparation, learning how to be better servants and workers.

The guest minister was Rev. Tim McCary, Pastor of Phoenix Revival Center and General Secretary for the Apostolic Man Division of the UPCI. Rev. McCary brought some on fire message during our Holy Ghost Revival and shared in teaching his knowledge of Hebrew. We also received teaching from other district ministers including Revs. Darcy Ross, Roger Roth, Clifford Barnett, Jeffrey Hall, Mark Dillon and a superb message on the importance of being a good Dad from our host pastor Rev. Grant Knowles.

The men of the District were encouraged by our General Secretary, Rev. Gary Blaylock, to bring the Men's Ministries in Washington District into a more active role in the state. This will start with the June collection of 'A Father's Gift' the annual offering for the Men's Ministries and continue on through the T.E.A.M. ministry. The T.E.A.M. ministry is designed to help out throughout the district, using the talents on the Washington men wherever they are needed.

As always, included with the teaching was great fellowship at the hotel, at area restaurants and our now famous Gym Night on Friday evening after service.

Apostolic Man XII - 12th Annual Men's Conference

The 12th Annual Men's Conference, Apostolic Man XII, is being held in Bellevue, Washington at the Sanctuary of Praise United Pentecostal Church, hosted by Pastor Harold Kern and the Washington District UPC's Men's Department.

The Conference begins on February 15 with 6 pm Prayer services followed by a message given by this year's guest speaker, Rev. Bill Davis of Macon Georgia.
