Washington District Foreign Missions Director
Bro. Peters has been the Foreign Missions Promotional Director since April of 2005. He is not new to this position as he held it in the Alaska/Yukon District for 17 years.

Bro. Peters is originally from the church in Morton, WA. He attended Conquerors Bible College from 1964 until 1967 when he graduated. He then received his General License with the UPCI that year and moved immediately to Kodiak, AK where he pastored until the end of 1974. He was Ordained in June of 1969.

After he left Kodiak, he assumed, a few months later, the Assistant Pastorate at the First UPC of Anchorage, AK where he remained for 20 years. Bro. Peters moved back to WA in Dec 1994 and in April of 1995 assumed the Pastorate of the Jesus Name Tabernacle (UPC) of Morton, WA.

He resigned from the church there on December 31, 1998. He has been attending the Tacoma UPC until recently when he began to help in the work with Rev. Michael Gurley in Lacey, WA.

Since being in the Washington District Bro. Peters has been involved with both Junior and Senior camps and has been a member of the SS Board for 9 years.

Bro. Peters has served also as the Alaska/Yukon Home Missions Director for 4 years and was a District Board Member for 4 years.

He has been married to the love of his life since June 11, 1966. All his children reside in Washington.
