Nathan Boyd was raised in the church and received the Holy Ghost when he was 9 years old. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, where in an empty classroom of the science building, Nathan accepted the call of God to ministry. Bro. Boyd currently serves as Assistant Pastor at Calvary Tabernacle (Mountlake Terrace). He has served as Youth Pastor and watched in awed wonder as God has tripled the work at Calvary Tabernacle. It has been his extreme privilege to learn from and assist Pastor Gary Blaylock in this ministry and help build a beautiful new sanctuary where many more have been baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost.

Bro. Boyd is married to his loving and talented princess, Sarah, who loves to worship, and teach: Sunday school, bible quizzing, and jr. choir. Bro. and Sis. Boyd have two rambunctious boys: Ian (2yrs) and James (1yr). The Boyd family serves the District of Washington with joy and a passion for their work to assist the growth of each church.

"I was filled with the Holy Ghost when I was 9 yrs. Old. I believe we should purpose in our hearts that all of our children receive this baptism early and renew this experience with God as often as we can provide the opportunity. We must provide real-life answers for churches striving to build families. I want the Sunday School department to be a valuable resource to our churches for activity, revival, teacher training and the outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh!"
